Milk Industry Development Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil has appealed that processing centers including Amul Industries Group should collect additional 20 lakh liters of milk to solve the problem of surplus milk in the state. He also expressed the belief that if the processing center cooperates, it will be possible to pay Rs 35 to the milk producers in the state .
The State Revenue , Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister Vikhe Patil has started special efforts to implement the decision taken by the state government regarding milk price in the state immediately . A meeting of milk traders and heads of all processing centers was organized in the presence of minister Vikhe Patil in the presence of minister Vikhe Patil to get the rates applied by the government mainly for the milk going outside the state. Commissioner of Dairy Business Development Department Prashant Mohod and officers of the department along with representatives of Amul , Panchmahal , Union , Kaira Union , Valsad , Sumool and Bharuj attended the meeting.
Minister Vikhe Patil while interacting with all these representatives appealed to the milk producing farmers to implement the rate of Rs 35 fixed by the government for 3-5 , 8-5 fat. He testified that if there are any difficulties in implementing the rates, the department will take definite initiatives to solve them. He said that after the demand of the present representatives that the subsidy given to the processing centers in the state for the production of milk powder should also be given to the processing centers outside the state, the government will consider this positively, he said.
As the problem of excess milk has arisen in the state in the present situation, the processing center should cooperate to collect 20 lakh liters of milk to solve the problem, due to which the milk problem of the farmers will be solved. Mr. Vikhe Patil said in the meeting that the state government has sent a proposal to the central government to get a guaranteed price for milk while expressing the expectation that the financial loss caused by this will also be avoided.
The government is very sensitive to the interests of the milk producing farmers in the state and efforts are being made to increase the price of milk. Milk Industry Development Minister Mr. Vikhe Patil said that the work of planning solutions for the problem of milk producing farmers has started at all levels.
