Swachh Wari, Nirmal Wari, implement  Safe Wari: CM

Stating that activities like Swachh Vari Nirmal Vari which are being observed in the background of Ashadhi Vari are very important and this is creating public awareness about cleanliness among the people, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Eknath Shinde appealed to implement the concept of safe water along with clean water.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was speaking during the conclusion of Swachh Wari Nirmal Wari program organized in Pandharpur Panchayat Samiti.

Chief Minister Shri Shinde further said that through activities like Swachh Vari Nirmal Vari, it is necessary to do environmental conservation along with cleanliness. Due to environmental imbalance, the incidence of ‘sun stroke’ has increased. As an alternative to this, maximum tree planting should be taken seriously by all. By planting bamboo, a large amount of oxygen is available and he urged citizens to give importance to bamboo cultivation.  

Recognizing the importance of the environment, the Prime Minister of our country Narendra Modi has also appealed to the citizens of the country to plant a tree in the name of their mother. Accordingly, every citizen of the state should prioritize tree planting. Also, every municipal corporation in the state will be given a target of planting one lakh trees and through this, the concept of urban forest will be implemented across the state, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde stated.

Four Maha Arogya camps were conducted by the Health Department in Pandharpur city in the wake of Ashadhi floods . Ten lakh citizens have benefited so far. These health camps are improving the health of Varkari devotees. Chief Minister Shinde informed that Warkari devotees are being provided with excellent health care by establishing an intensive care unit. He also gave information about other important schemes along with Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana being implemented on behalf of the state government.

Publication of coffee table books On the occasion of Nirmal Vari on Swachh , the coffee table book ‘ Vari Maharashtra Dharma ‘ was published by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and dignitaries by the Village Development Department of Zilla Parishad . Also, the logo of the village sanitation department was unveiled.
