Chanakya Skill Development Centres, 1958 appl. filed : Lodha

Acharya Chanakya skill development centers will be established in 1000 colleges of the state. So far 1958 colleges have applied for this. State Minister for Skill , Employment , Entrepreneurship and Innovation Mangal Prabhat Lodha said in a press conference held at the Ministry Legislature Press Room that more colleges will be included in this initiative in the coming time .

Minister Mr. Lodha said that the training program will be started from August at Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center. Vocational education has been given importance in the National Education Policy, 2020. In order to create a positive environment for the implementation of this policy and also to provide opportunities for skill development to the youth in the colleges, an innovative scheme “Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center” has been launched . Applications were called for. In fact, 1958 colleges have filed applications spontaneously , which is positive.

    Minister Mr. Lodha said that free skill development training will be given to about 150 youths every year in each skill development center. Due to this, about 1,50,000 youths will get free skill development training every year in the entire state . All youths in the age group of 15 to 45 are eligible for this scheme. Special efforts are being made to make the college youths employable by providing up-to-date technology skill training. The state and central government are working to create youth who are not job seekers but job creators .
